New concepts expand dining and entertainment options for residents, tenants and visitors alike

Baltimore, MD (May 9, 2024) – Today, the Baltimore Peninsula development team, led by MAG Partners and MacFarlane Partners, in partnership with Sagamore Ventures and the Urban Investment Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, announced it has signed two new leases with Tex-Mex concept Urbano (4,500 square feet) and futuristic karaoke experience LIVE-K (7,800 square feet) for Rye Street Market.

“Our retail strategy at Baltimore Peninsula is driven by the goal of creating a vibrant, dynamic neighborhood. Already, the community’s retail provides critical amenities, exciting activities and enticing food and beverage destinations,” said MaryAnne Gilmartin, Founder and CEO of MAG Partners. “We expect that these regionally loved concepts will quickly become popular destinations for the community to enjoy.”

“As a development partner in Rye Street Market, I’ve always believed in its potential to become one of Baltimore’s most popular gathering spots,” said Pinky Cole, restaurateur and development partner in Rye Street Market. “Urbano and LIVE-K are the perfect additions to the growing neighborhood and I’m excited to welcome them as my Rye Street Market neighbors!”

“It’s special to place our footprint in Baltimore and offer our innovative concept in a place that is close to our roots,” said Chad Sparrow of Urbano. “The development and vision of Baltimore Peninsula perfectly align with our concept, passion and growth plan. It’s a privilege to partner with the leaders behind this project as our roots and passion blossomed from areas just miles away.”

“After the success of our DC location, we can’t wait to bring LIVE-K to the heart of Baltimore Peninsula,” said Chris Zhujan of LIVE-K. “Our one-of-a-kind entertainment experience makes for the perfect date night, birthday party, corporate event and more.”
